We moved into Magnolia Gardens in May 2008, it was the best move we could ever make. The friendly happy atmosphere is a pleasure to be a part of. Our care manager is always near to help with any problems we may have. You never feel alone, there is always someone to talk to or we can join in with the social group activities. We enjoy our short walk to the shops, also knowing the bus is there if we need it. Being a small village we have got to know all our fellow residents. Every one cares for each other without intruding on one's privacy and are aware if someone isn't about or maybe not well. We can recommend this life style knowing the latter years won't be lonely ones.

My wife and I have been living at Magnolia Gardens Retirement Village for the past 4 and a half years. We are both so pleased we moved here. Magnolia Gardens is situated a short walking distance to everywhere, Woolworths, doctors, chemists and coffee shops. It is an ideal location from the Central Business District.
Tuesday mornings are set aside for an altogether morning tea. Our Village Manager sits with us and we discuss any items of interest, events or news together as a group. This is a lovely time for all residents to catch up with each other on a regular basis. The village is serviced by a fruit truck, once a week, with fresh produce, direct from the fruit market, just like the old days. The village bus is located on site and driven by our Care Manager who regularly transports us to various locations in the lower Hunter for shopping and entertainment, luncheons, and often on weekends in her own time. We enjoy a happy friendly association with the Village Management Team and treasure their interest in our lives and the relationships they have with us the residents.
We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
